The vanity light is even nicer than I'd thought it would be -- the glass covering the 5 halogen lights is embossed with small squares. It looks gorgeous in our newly renovated universal-design bathroom and with a dimmer switch, provides multi-functional lighting.
This was one of the few bathroom items that arrived on time!

This fixture is made of solid construction and is simple to assemble with minimal tools. The packaging is good and the glass shades are high quality. The problem I experienced was the the metal bar the light sockets are attached to gets very hot and the screws holding the light bulb sockets stick through the metal bar and are unprotected on the back side. The first time I hung the fixture one of the screws contacted the wire coming from the wall and the screw got so hot with the light on it melted the insulation on the wire and shorted the fixture out. You must be careful that nothing touches any wires inside the fixture when hanging it or a potentually dangerous situation could result.

The picture on line does not do it justice. when coupled with a dimmer switch and a little less than full power the individual squares on the glass shades just make the art deco effect come alive.

After buying a single unit of this design, i bought 4 more of various sizes, & love the way they look & perform. They are sleek, low-profile & give off plenty of light.
